Key Responsibilities
Design, code, and modify websites from layout to function according to specifications.
Develop well-structured, maintainable, and scalable web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design for optimal user experience on all devices.
Optimize website performance for speed and scalability.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers and back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
Conduct testing, debugging, and quality assurance to ensure smooth functionality.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging web technologies and best practices.
Implement SEO strategies to improve site ranking and visibility.
Manage website content updates and version control using Git or other source management tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
Strong understanding of back-end technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
Knowledge of MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL databases.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a virtual environment.
Experience
Minimum of 1–3 years of hands-on web development experience (internship or professional).
Proven portfolio of responsive websites or web applications.
Prior experience in remote or freelance web development is an added advantage.
Working Hours
Flexible remote working hours.
Full-time position: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Occasional weekend availability may be required for urgent deployments or updates.
