Key Responsibilities
Lead the design process from concept to delivery for automation-focused products and features.
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define user requirements and translate them into design solutions.
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to iterate and refine design solutions.
Ensure all designs align with accessibility standards and design system guidelines.
Analyze data and user behavior to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
Work with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and smooth implementation.
Contribute to maintaining and evolving a unified design system across products.
Mentor junior designers and promote best practices in design thinking and UX methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience in product or UX/UI design, preferably in SaaS or automation products.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
Strong understanding of automation workflows, process mapping, and user journey optimization.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical teams.
Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints effectively.
Experience with prototyping and user testing methodologies.
Portfolio showcasing automation or complex system design projects.
Experience
Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in product design roles.
Demonstrated track record of designing products that incorporate automation, AI-driven workflows, or productivity tools.
Experience working in Agile or Lean development environments.
Working Hours
Full-time remote position based in Canada.
