Key Responsibilities
Develop, write, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including product manuals, system operation guides, installation instructions, FAQs, and online help materials.
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather technical data and ensure the accuracy of all documentation.
Edit and proofread existing content for clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand and style guidelines.
Create and maintain templates, style guides, and documentation standards.
Convert complex technical concepts into language suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Review and update documentation in alignment with new product releases or updates.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation aligns with user requirements and business goals.
Utilize content management systems (CMS) and documentation tools to publish and manage content efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Technical Writer, Content Developer, or Documentation Specialist.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficiency in using authoring tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word, or Confluence.
Strong understanding of technical terminology, software documentation, and content structuring.
Ability to learn complex systems quickly and translate them into easy-to-understand documentation.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Familiarity with Agile development environments and version control systems (e.g., Git) is an asset.
Experience
2–5 years of experience in technical writing or documentation for technology-based products or software solutions.
Prior experience working with software development teams or engineering projects is preferred.
Working Hours
Flexible working schedule with core hours between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Canada time zone).
Fully remote position with collaboration through virtual meetings, chats, and project management tools.

Exceptional command of grammar, syntax, and technical vocabulary.
Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into cohesive documentation.
