Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines for diverse data sources.
Build and optimize scalable data architectures and systems using modern cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
Develop and manage data models, schemas, and warehouse solutions for analytical and operational needs.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity through automated validation and monitoring processes.
Implement data governance and security standards, ensuring compliance with global data protection policies.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize data processes for efficiency and reliability.
Work with APIs, streaming data, and real-time data integration frameworks.
Prepare technical documentation, data dictionaries, and process workflows to support transparency and collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data pipeline frameworks.
Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse).
Experience in data modeling, ETL development, and workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Luigi, or Prefect).
Strong understanding of APIs, JSON, RESTful data integration, and real-time streaming tools (Kafka, Spark Streaming).
Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, globally distributed team environment.
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a related data-focused engineering role.
Proven track record in handling large-scale data systems, data lakes, and real-time data architectures.
Experience working in agile, cross-functional technology teams.
Working Hours
Flexible global remote schedule.
Expected availability for virtual meetings across multiple time zones as required by project needs.
