The Elite Job is looking for a talented and detail-oriented French Interpreter to join our remote language services team. Key Responsibilities
Provide real-time interpretation between French and English speakers via phone, video calls, or virtual meetings.
Ensure the meaning and context of spoken communication are accurately conveyed without omissions or distortions.
Translate and clarify specialized terminology and cultural nuances to enhance understanding between parties.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics at all times.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure language support aligns with project goals.
Handle interpretation for various industries such as healthcare, business, technology, education, and customer service.
Keep detailed records of interpretation sessions when required.
Continuously improve language proficiency and stay updated with linguistic and industry trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Languages, Translation, Communication, or a related field (preferred).
Fluency in French and English (both written and spoken).
Proven experience as a professional interpreter or bilingual communicator.
Excellent listening, note-taking, and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of grammar, pronunciation, and cultural nuances in both languages.
Proficiency in using online communication tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Skype.
Ability to maintain accuracy and speed under pressure.
Experience
Minimum 1–3 years of professional interpreting experience, preferably in a remote or client-facing environment.
Experience across multiple sectors (healthcare, corporate, education, or government) is a plus.
Working Hours
Flexible working hours with global coverage based on client needs.
Part-time and full-time schedules available.
Occasional weekend or evening assignments may be required, depending on project demands.
