Key Responsibilities

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Troubleshoot, test, and maintain web applications to ensure strong functionality and performance.
Implement responsive designs to ensure optimal viewing across multiple devices.
Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and industry best practices.
Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (React, Vue, or Angular preferred).
Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
Familiarity with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Firebase).
Understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience
Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in web development.
Experience working in remote or distributed teams is a plus.
Prior experience in e-commerce or content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify) is advantageous.
Working Hours
Flexible remote work schedule based on Canadian time zones.
Core working hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (EST) with flexibility for project-based collaboration.
