Job Summary
Houston Skilled Consultancy is looking for a skilled and data-driven Email Marketing & Customer Lifecycle Campaign Manager experienced in Klaviyo to join our growing remote marketing team. The ideal candidate will develop, execute, and optimize email campaigns that drive customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth. You will play a key role in shaping our brands voice across digital communication channels by building lifecycle journeys, segmentation strategies, and automated workflows. Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and optimize email marketing campaigns using Klaviyo to support customer acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies.
Build automated lifecycle campaigns, including welcome series, cart abandonment, re-engagement, and loyalty flows.
Develop segmentation strategies based on behavioral and transactional data to deliver personalized content and improve conversion rates.
Conduct A/B testing for subject lines, email designs, send times, and content to continually improve performance.
Monitor and report on email KPIs (open rate, click-through rate, conversion rate, unsubscribe rate, etc.), ensuring campaigns meet defined performance goals.
Collaborate with content, design, and analytics teams to ensure brand consistency and data accuracy across all communications.
Manage email deliverability, ensuring best practices and compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other data protection regulations.
Continuously analyze customer journeys and identify opportunities to enhance lifecycle marketing strategies across digital channels.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience (2–4 years) in email marketing and CRM/lifecycle management, preferably in an e-commerce or B2C environment.
Hands-on experience with Klaviyo or other leading email automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign).
Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, segmentation, and automation workflows.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and generate actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email formatting and basic troubleshooting.
Knowledge of customer retention strategies, funnel optimization, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
Experience
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in email marketing, CRM management, or customer lifecycle campaigns.
Experience in managing automated and triggered campaigns in Klaviyo is mandatory.
Prior remote work experience and comfort with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, or Slack) preferred.
Working Hours
Flexible remote schedule aligned with project deadlines and campaign performance timelines.
Core collaboration hours between 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST (adjustable based on team requirements).
Occasional coordination with international clients or teams may be required.
