Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced, innovative technology team in Singapore. Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to ensure reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Collaborate with software development teams to optimize deployment strategies and troubleshoot issues.
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and ensure optimal uptime.
Maintain and enhance container orchestration environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Implement robust security and compliance practices in cloud and on-premises systems.
Support disaster recovery and backup processes for critical systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Systems Engineer.
Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
Familiarity with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code principles.
Working knowledge of networking, load balancing, and security best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Experience
3 to 6 years of relevant experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or System Administration.
Experience in working within agile and cross-functional development environments.
Working Hours
Full-time position (Monday to Friday).
Standard Singapore working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (SGT).
Occasional flexibility required for deployment or maintenance windows.
