At The Elite Job, we are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Technical Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT Solutions team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operation of IT systems for our clients. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to delivering high-quality support services.
Key Responsibilities
Provide timely and professional technical support to clients via phone, email, or remote sessions.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and IT infrastructure.
Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex technical issues when required.
Document support cases, resolutions, and technical best practices.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential problems.
Assist in the deployment of IT projects and solutions tailored to client needs.
Deliver user training and create knowledge base articles to enhance self-service support.
Ensure compliance with security protocols and company IT policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
Proficiency in networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls).
Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and cloud-based applications.
Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and remote support tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Experience
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a technical support, IT helpdesk, or system administration role.
Previous exposure to IT solutions, managed services, or enterprise support is highly desirable.
Experience supporting cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, AWS, Azure) is an advantage.
Working Hours
Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
Standard business hours (Monday to Friday).
Flexibility may be required for urgent support outside regular hours.
