We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our dynamic gaming studio. In this role, you will be responsible for testing games in development to ensure the highest quality standards before release. You will work closely with developers, designers, and producers to identify bugs, glitches, and usability issues, contributing directly to the overall success of our games.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute test plans and test cases across multiple gaming platforms, including PC, console, and mobile.

  • Identify, document, and track software bugs using established QA tools and processes.

  • Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, isolate, and resolve issues.

  • Provide detailed feedback on gameplay balance, functionality, user interface, and overall player experience.

  • Perform regression testing to ensure previously resolved issues remain fixed.

  • Participate in daily stand-ups, QA review meetings, and sprint planning sessions.

  • Stay updated on gaming trends, new technologies, and emerging testing methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for video games.

  • Ability to identify and articulate bugs clearly, both in written and verbal communication.

  • Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar).

  • Basic knowledge of game development processes, software testing life cycle (STLC), and agile methodologies.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical and analytical approach.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within the gaming industry.

  • Prior experience testing on multiple platforms (PC, console, mobile) is highly desirable.

  • Experience with automated testing tools or scripting languages is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Standard workweek: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.

  • Flexibility may be required during critical development or release phases.

  • Hybrid and remote work options available depending on project requirements.

  • Knowledge of gaming genres, mechanics, and player behaviors.

  • Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, platforms, and technologies.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple testing tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

  • A keen eye for detail combined with creativity to identify potential edge cases.
