Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a passionate and motivated Outreach Coordinator to join our Community NGO team. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between our organization and the community, building strong relationships, fostering partnerships, and ensuring that our programs are visible, accessible, and impactful. You will play a key role in planning and implementing outreach strategies, promoting community engagement, and supporting initiatives that make a difference in peoples lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective outreach strategies to increase community awareness and participation.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community groups, stakeholders, schools, and local organizations.

  • Coordinate and attend community events, workshops, and information sessions to represent the organization.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach efforts with program goals and objectives.

  • Monitor and evaluate outreach activities, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.

  • Manage communication channels such as newsletters, social media, and press releases to promote programs and initiatives.

  • Support the recruitment and coordination of volunteers to assist with community projects and events.

  • Ensure outreach activities are inclusive, culturally sensitive, and accessible to diverse communities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong writing, public speaking, and presentation skills.

Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Communications, Social Work, Community Development, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in outreach, community engagement, nonprofit work, or related roles.

  • Demonstrated success in building partnerships and fostering collaboration.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position, typically 40 hours per week.

  • Flexibility required, including occasional evenings and weekends for community events and activities.

  • Knowledge of community development principles and nonprofit operations.

  • Ability to engage with individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
