Maintenance Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of industrial maintenance practices. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment while maintaining a safe working environment. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of maintenance technicians, manage projects, and implement effective maintenance strategies.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective repairs and maintenance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Manage electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage equipment, ensuring all work meets industry standards.
  • Provide technical support in mechanical knowledge, schematics interpretation, and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Lead project management efforts for facility upgrades or equipment installations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Foster a culture of safety by training staff on best practices in maintenance management and facilities management.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within an industrial maintenance environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and high voltage applications.
  • Familiarity with project management principles as they relate to maintenance operations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising teams effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 60 per week
