Job Summary
The Elite Job is seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics and Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies to ensure cost optimization and timely acquisition of goods and services.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities to prevent stockouts or excess.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, and project management to forecast procurement needs.
Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring smooth transportation and warehousing processes.
Maintain accurate procurement and logistics records, reports, and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Ensure procurement activities comply with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
Identify potential supply risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Assist in vendor development and maintain a preferred supplier list aligned with company goals.
Support cost reduction initiatives and sustainability practices within procurement and logistics processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
Proven experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management (3+ years preferred).
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to assess data and market trends to make informed decisions.
Proficiency in procurement software, MS Office Suite, and ERP systems.
Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control principles.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
Awareness of compliance standards, contractual obligations, and supplier management best practices.
Experience
3 to 5 years of experience in procurement and logistics operations within corporate, manufacturing, or retail environments.
Exposure to vendor management, transportation coordination, and inventory control.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Prior involvement in cost analysis, contract negotiations, and supply chain optimization is desirable.
Working Hours
Full-time position.
Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Occasional extended hours may be required based on project deadlines or emergencies.
