Job Summary
The Elite Job is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Research Analyst to join our dynamic team in support of an ongoing NGO project. Key Responsibilities
Conduct primary and secondary research on social, economic, and developmental topics relevant to NGO projects.
Collect, clean, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable insights.
Support the preparation of research reports, presentations, and briefing documents for stakeholders.
Collaborate with project managers, senior researchers, and external partners to ensure data accuracy and project alignment.
Monitor trends, policies, and industry best practices related to the NGO sector.
Assist in the design and implementation of surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
Maintain accurate records, databases, and research documentation for internal use.
Contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions and provide administrative support to the research team as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Development Studies, Statistics, or a related field.
Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with statistical tools (SPSS, STATA, or R) is an advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
A genuine interest in NGO projects, social impact, and sustainable development.
Experience
0–2 years of experience in research, data analysis, or project support roles.
Internship or volunteer experience within an NGO, consultancy, or research organization will be considered an asset.
Working Hours
Full-time position (40 hours per week).
Standard office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
Flexibility may be required occasionally to meet project deadlines.
