Full Time Manager at THE UPS STORE

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Store Manager with experience in The UPS Store, FedEx, or other ship & print shops who is ready to take ownership of daily operations, lead a team, and ensure exceptional service at all levels. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver, a tech-savvy leader, and someone who understands the workflows and customer service standards required in this type of environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations and staff scheduling
- Deliver a high level of customer service across all in-store services
- Resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally
- Train and coach team members to uphold brand and service standards
- Oversee printing, shipping, packaging, mailbox, and notary services
- Maintain inventory, manage supplies, and ensure a clean, organized work environment
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with franchise policies and procedures
- Perform opening and closing duties, including end-of-day reporting
Qualifications:
- Experience in The UPS Store, FedEx, Kinkos, or similar shipping/quick print environments (required)
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of retail or customer service management experience
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a small team
- Problem-solving mindset – you enjoy figuring things out and finding solutions quickly
- Comfortable with technology, POS systems, Microsoft Office, internet tools, and printing software (Adobe Suite is a plus)
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Notary Public (or willingness to obtain certification; we’ll help you get there)
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
- Must pass a background check
Work Schedule:
- Flexible scheduling.
- Rotating weekend shifts required.
- Our business hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 7pm; Saturday, 10am – 5pm; Sunday, 12pm – 5pm.
- Closed on major holidays.
