Key Responsibilities

  • Transcribe dictated notes, meeting minutes, and legal correspondence.

  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to support case preparation.

  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

  • Perform general office tasks including data entry, scanning, and document distribution.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong typing skills with speed and accuracy (minimum 50 words per minute preferred).

  • Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and eagerness to learn.

Experience

  • No prior legal experience required; training will be provided.

  • Previous office, administrative, or typing-related experience is considered an asset.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday.

  • Standard office hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
