Children’s Ministry Director

<p class="s3"><span class="s2">Heaton Christian Church</span> <span class="s2">is a </span><span class="s2">is a faith-based community dedicated to serving God and His people</span><span class="s2"> located </span><span class="s2">in  Elk</span><span class="s2"> Park, NC.  </span><span class="s2">We are looking for a passionate and dedicated </span><strong><span class="s2">part-time </span></strong><span class="s2"><strong>Children’s Ministry Director</strong> to join our church community. Responsibilities</span> <span class="s2">include overseeing children’s ministry, managing volunteers, organizing special events, and more. Candidates should have a background in ministry or child development, be able to lead and communicate effectively, and have a deep personal faith</span><span class="s2"> in Jesus Christ.</span></p> <p class="s3"><strong><span class="s2">The job responsibilities </span><span class="s2">may </span><span class="s2">include:</span></strong></p> <p class="s3"><span class="s2">Working closely with current Children’s and Youth ministry volunteers to </span><span class="s2">implemen</span><span class="s2">t</span><span class="s2"> biblically sound curricula for the appropriate age level</span><span class="s2"> and ensuring</span><span class="s2"> that </span><span class="s2">B</span><span class="s2">ible lessons and activities are relevant, engaging, and aligned with the church’s values and teachings.</span></p> <p class="s3"><span class="s2">Providing leadership, guidance, and support to volunteers to ensure effective teamwork</span><span class="s2"> as well as </span><span class="s2">recruiting, training, and equipping volunteer teams to assist in various aspects of the children’s ministry.</span></p> <p class="s3"><span class="s2">Overseeing the Sunday school program on Sunday morning</span><span class="s2">, the Wednesday night Bible study,</span><span class="s2"> and other children’s programs within the church. Working to plan and oversee special events, outreach events, and outings that foster spiritual growth and build a sense of community.</span></p> <p class="s3"><span class="s2">Regularly communicating with parents or guardians to keep them informed about upcoming events, curriculum, and their child’s progress and involvement in the ministry.</span></p> <p class="s3"><span class="s2">Engaging with the local community to reach out to children and families outside the church, inviting them to participate in ministry activities and events.</span></p> <p class="s3"><span class="s2">Being a positive and Christ-like role model for the children and the ministry team, exemplifying a strong and authentic faith.</span></p> <p class="s3"><span class="s2">The position of Children’s/Youth minister is open to either an individual or couple who love the Lord, who love children, and are dedicated to serving the Lord in this important ministry.  If interested or would like additional information, please contact David Ellis (Elder) at 828-387-6833 or send a resume to David Ellis, Heaton Christian Church, PO Box 117, Elk Park, NC 286</span><span class="s2">22.</span></p>
