Canning Line Associate

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-orientedCanning Line Associateto support our beverage canning operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe handling of beverage cans during the packaging process. Responsibilities include loading empty cans onto the line, removing filled cans, inspecting for quality, and palletizing finished product.

Responsibilities

  • Load empty cans onto the canning line at the start of the process.
  • Remove filled cans from the line and prepare them for packaging.
  • Inspect cans for dents, mislabeling, or sealing defects to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Palletize finished products according to company guidelines, including wrapping and labeling.
  • Keep work area clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
  • Assist with equipment start-up, cleaning, and shutdown procedures.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or product quality issues to the supervisor immediately.
  • Follow all safety, hygiene, and quality control protocols.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • High attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Prior experience in food/beverage production or manufacturing is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
