Banquet Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services in a fast-paced environment. As a Banquet Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our events run smoothly and that guests enjoy their dining experience. Your responsibilities will include serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with various banquet functions.

Duties

  • Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Assist with the bussing of tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the event.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper handling of food items.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of meals.
  • Address guest inquiries and provide excellent customer service to enhance guest relations.
  • Assist in the breakdown of events, including cleaning up and resetting banquet areas for future use.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, catering options, and special dietary needs.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred.
  • Culinary experience or background in food preparation is a plus.
  • Strong guest service skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with banquet service procedures and food handling practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and staff.
  • Experience in bussing, serving, or catering is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential.
  • Previous restaurant or hotel experience is an advantage.
  • Coffee or Bartending experience are nice-to-have skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 4 – 40 per week
