About the position

As an Amazon Delivery Station Warehouse Associate, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team at the delivery station, which serves as the final stop before packages are delivered to customers. This fast-paced and active role involves receiving trucks full of orders and preparing them for delivery. Your responsibilities will include loading conveyor belts, transporting, and staging deliveries for drivers to pick up. You will be expected to utilize technology such as smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders efficiently. In this role, you will engage in various physical activities, including lifting packages weighing up to 49 pounds, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching throughout your shifts. You will also be required to use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items around the warehouse. Depending on the location, you may need to navigate stairs and work at heights of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine. The work environment at an Amazon Delivery Station is dynamic and can be noisy at times, with moving machines such as order pickers and forklifts. While the temperature is controlled, it can vary between 60°F and 90°F, especially in the truck yard or inside trailers. The dress code is relaxed, but safety is paramount, requiring comfortable, closed-toe shoes, and in some cases, protective footwear.
