About the position
The Atlassian Administrator position at Beacon Hill is a 100% remote role focused on supporting the software delivery lifecycle of Atlassian Data Center applications. The role involves troubleshooting complex technical issues, managing the Atlassian ecosystem, and ensuring system availability while collaborating with various teams to enhance business processes through automation and integration.
Responsibilities
• Support the software delivery lifecycle of Atlassian Data Center applications including installations, upgrades, and migrations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems related to applications, databases, and servers.
,
• Evaluate application performance and reliability, ensuring high availability and satisfactory response times.
,
• Plan, create, and maintain documentation and procedures related to application administration and system architecture.
,
• Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders to understand needs and resolve issues.
,
• Lead and manage all capabilities of the Atlassian ecosystem including Jira and Confluence administration.
,
• Implement cross-functional department processes utilizing Jira workflows and automation scripts.
,
• Build new Jira projects and author workflows based on user requirements.
,
• Manage user permissions and ensure system availability based on service level agreements.
,
• Handle escalations from the service ticket queue for timely resolution of end-user issues.
,
• Support software deployment and maintenance projects, including on-call support rotation.
,
• Coordinate requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment for in-house and outsourced projects.
,
• Design and implement processes to ensure data integrity and standardization.
,
• Build and maintain custom integrations with third-party applications via REST APIs.
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in administration and support of large-scale applications, databases, and servers.

• Familiarity with technical administration procedures including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of software applications.
,
• Experience supporting and maintaining enterprise-level applications.
,
• Ability to manage multiple time-critical projects simultaneously.
,
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting application issues and problem resolution.
,
• Proficient in documenting and maintaining configuration and process information.
,
• Experience with scripting and using REST APIs.
,
• Experience with Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence administration.
,
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work after hours for project support.
